There are basically two kinds of Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) on Audi A3 8P cars. One kind (TPMS sensor-based) has pressure sensors in each wheel that transmit an alert to the car if pressure is outside the safe range. The other kind (TPMS wheelspeed-based) uses the ABS sensors to monitor the trends of wheel speeds with respect to each other. If one wheel loses pressure, it will have a smaller diameter and a correspondingly higher rotation speed, so a warning can be triggered.
-If you have DIS (Driver Information System) or MMI (Multi Media Interface), you don't need a button to reset TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System);
-If you don't have DIS or MMI, you need a button to reset TPMS;
-Button OEM code: 8P0 927 121 A 5PR or 8P0 927 121 B 5PR
-You must check to see if your ABS controller is compatible with this mod;
